Loveland Fire Station No. 2 LEED Review | Loveland, CO

Loveland Fire Station No. 2, located at 3070 West 29th Street, is a newly constructed 12,980 SF building for two relocated fire companies and their equipment. The station includes office space, living space (24-hour shifts), training rooms, and an exercise room for the first responders to live, work, and train while on-duty. The building was opened in November 2014.

IBE Role

IBE performed a complete review off all LEED credit documentation before submitting for Preliminary GBCI Design and Construction review and a complete review of all responses to the GBCI LEED Review.

  • Nearly 78% of construction waste was diverted from the landfill!
  • Nearly 40% of the materials used are manufactured and extracted/harvested/recovered within 500-miles of the building site!
