Sustainability Associate, Public Health

Liz Young is a Research Associate in Public Health at the Institute for the Built Environment currently working on a project to develop a community health hub model in northwest Fort Collins. She is a first year student in the Master of Public Health program at the Colorado School of Public Health with a concentration in Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyles. She hopes to further her education via application to the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program at CU Denver. Liz is very interested in learning how the built environment shapes people’s experiences and how it can influence their behavioral choices toward or away from health. She received her undergraduate degrees from Colorado State University in Business Management and in Family & Consumer Sciences Education.
