IBE was asked by The Neenan Company to facilitate a sustainable design charrette to set project goals for the renovation of CSU’s Powerhouse Campus, including the potential achievement of LEED Platinum.

CSU’s Engines and Energy Conversion Lab was established in 1992, when the City of Fort Collins granted the university a vacant Fort Collins Power Plant. Today, the lab serves as a model of student learning, faculty research, and product design and analysis for industry. IBE facilitated a design charrette to remodel and meet the lab’s growing research needs in this historic facility.
