IBE facilitated community engagement workshops, leading small and large group discussions about specific project concerns for the Redtail Ponds Permanent Supportive Housing Development.

Redtail Ponds Permanent Supportive Housing is a mixed income development with designated housing designed to meet the needs of homeless individuals with disabilities, homeless veterans, and other low-income individuals. The City held a series of neighborhood meetings to discuss details of the project, clarify direction, and resolve community concerns in order to ensure Redtail Ponds is a place the whole community can be proud of.

IBE facilitated the workshops, leading small and large group discussions about specific project concerns including communication, safety/security, site design, property management, and resident eligibility and screening.

Key Outcomes:

  • Brought in diverse community members for input
  • Organize data from past meeting to focus the conversation on most important factors
  • Over 100 people attended 2 workshops
