Community conversations inform mixed-use master plan

The Client: Urban Land Conservancy

IBE partnered with the Urban Land Conservancy, Studio Completiva, the City of Fort Collins, and Elevation Community Land Trust to facilitate a series of community engagement charrettes for a future affordable housing and mixed-use development in Fort Collins, CO. IBE guided conversations about potential sustainability, human health, and affordability strategies.

The dialogue contributed to an updated development master plan that included five pillars: Education; Stewardship of the Land; Place + Community; Health, Happiness and Wellness; and Sustainability in the Built Environment. The master plan is being used to further engage the community in the project approval process.
