Verena earned undergraduate degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Computer Science from Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. In 2019, she completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s certificate in Intercultural Communication. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Sociology with a focus on the science of team science, social network analysis, intervention design for fostering prosocial behavior change, and community sociology. She is passionate about interdisciplinary approaches and collaborating across boundaries to promote positive social change. With IBE, Verena will work on an applied research-based approach to help communities recognize development opportunities.
